Tired legs and a GIVEAWAY!

I really need to start taking my own advice on a consistent basis and…

Foam roll.

I failed to complete my post long run recovery plan on Sunday,

and have been paying for it for the last few days.

Not fun.

My legs are tiiiiiired…

Unfortunately for me, today’s run called for sprint work.

That means I get to run my happy

bad-attitudeover to the Cal Poly track and run around in circles for 45 minutes.

To be honest, it’s NOT my favorite thing to do.

But I did it anyway.

I had a few new toys to keep me motivated which helped…

Along with the adorable skirt that I mentioned on Monday’s post,

INKnBURN sent me a cool Denim Bandana Tech Tube!

No one is gonna run me over today!

I was as bright as a stop light.

I also received a new armband to replace this piece of junk that I have been rocking for the last 5 years.

I am disgusted just thinking about how many sweaty runs this thing has endured.

Thank goodness ArmPocket saved the day and sent me this ADORABLE purple armband.

Isn’t it cute? It is the i-10, which is made specifically for iPhones.

(I’m an Apple girl!)

They have a bunch of colors too: Black, Fluorescent Yellow, Orange, Pink, Purple, Red and Splash (which is a cool Tye-dye print).

And check it…

There is even a spot for your ID, credit cards and keys.

I love this thing.

Guess what!!!!

The amazing people over at ArmPocket have agreed to do an armband giveaway for you!

Aren’t they just the coolest?!?!

The answer is yes, yes they are.

Click on the link to enter to win!

The giveaway ends on July 4th so ENTER NOW! HURRY!

I’d love to win this. As a cancer patient lately I’ve felt more secure running with my phone in case of an emergency where I can’t complete run due to side affects. This could come in handy so much. Thank you so much for your consideration.

I use a faux armband, it works, but it doesn’t protect my phone from sweating. And man, running in humidity makes me sweat! I think orange is my style, but I’m so picky – if it works, I don’t care what color it is!!!

I love the splash! I would probably get the i-30. I have to take my phone out of it’s case to fit in the armband I have now every time I want to run.

I just wrote about this today — I had also hit a rough patch and knew I wasn’t doing my best in terms of icing, foam rolling, etc. Seems we all struggle sometimes — glad that you got out there anyway!

I would love the i-10 in purple! My mom cannot find an armband she likes for her iPhone 4s and I would love to give this to her!!

Glad I’m not the only one. I’m notorious for skipping post-run stretching and foam rolling too. Thankfully I did it yesterday evening after a 16 miler and today my body is happy! Keeping this in mind next time I want to skip!

It totally is. I get side tracked really easily so it happens to me more than it should. I have however worked foam rolling and stretching into my morning routine so I am less likely to forget during the week. It is the weekend run that i have to watch out for.

I have an armband…I don’t remember what brand…But it’s starting to rip at the seams and it’s definitely icky sweaty gross! Time for a new one! I really like the purple one. 🙂

I used various kinds of armbands over the years. I don’t have one now because I got sick of using them. If I could choose an a color, it would be pink. I love the idea that it has an extra pocket So smart

I hate my armband because I have to take my iPhone out of it’s hard case (Otterbox) to put it in, and it pinches me (worse yet.) I’d love a purple or orange or blue or yellow one. Or Green. I’d just love to have one.
