I am sure most of you know that Runner’s World does a monthly “Rave Run” in every edition of their magazine.
Today, I give you my version of Rave Run!
These are beautiful places to run in San Luis Obispo County.
The Bob Jones Trail
The SLO Marathon Route (yep, that’s Dean Karnazes!)
Islay Creek Trail
The Railroad Bike Trail
Montana De Oro Bluff Trail
Madonna Inn Bike Path
Grover/Pismo Beach “Boardwalk”
Last, but not least, one of my favorite places to run in the morning.
Downtown San Luis Obispo!
I hope you enjoyed the views from my awesome town as much as I love running through it!

Wow! Super idea for a post! Plus some really pretty sites for you to run in. We have awesome places to run here in Georgia too.
So pretty! I feel like scenery has a pretty big impact on my runs. I’m happy I live in D.C. near the Capitol and can run around the mall and by the museums!
Downtown SLO in the am is truly the best!
You have awesome trails there! I’m jealous!
Thank you! 🙂
Wow! How can someone not go running with all those options right there!
So agree with all of those local runs. We are so blessed to have places that look like that to run in/on.
Righteous trails on a happy coast. What a great post!
