Hi everyone!
Hope you are doing well today.
Unfortunately my Modesto Race Review & Recap is going to be published next week some time.
Sorry, but things are crazy!
I did however, add a few races to my running calendar recently.
If you read my post from December: A Look at My 2016 Running Calendar you already know that…
2016 is stacking up to be my biggest racing year yet.
In that post, I mentioned 9 races that I would be running in 2016.
Since then, I have committed to running 8 additional races.
Yes, I know I am nuts!
Let’s talk about a few of them shall we?
May 22: Bank of Marin Running Festival Half Marathon, Novato, CA
Yes, that is the legendary Dean Karnazes in the photo. He will be running the race and there to take selfies with the runners.
The race offers a Half Marathon, 10K and 5K option.
The course takes you through the scenic rolling hills in back country Marin and there is a music festival at the end.
Super cool right?

July 31: San Francisco Marathon, San Francisco, CA
This will officially be my 3rd time running SF and 3rd marathon.
Yes, I said Marathon.
As many of you know, I am an Ambassador for the race and am in LOVE with the race itself.
It’s a big one and there is so much excitement surrounding the race weekend as a whole, not to mention the opportunity to run over the Golden Gate Bridge.
The race offers an Ultra, Marathon, Half Marathon (2 actually) and 5K.

September 11: Ventura Half Marathon, Ventura, CA
I ran this one last year.
And although I was frustrated about a few mishaps that happened…
I decided to give the race another shot.
The course is relatively flat (which I love) and their SWAG bag is awesome.
I really liked the finishers medal!
I’m looking forward to possibly running another sub 2 at this race!

October 22: Paso Robles Harvest Half Marathon, Paso Robles, CA
This race is in my ‘hood, but for some reason I have NEVER run it before.
The course takes runners through the vineyards – past wineries, barns and ranches – and rolling hills of the region.
The start and finish of all races is at Le Vigne Winery!
You know how I feel about running and wine…

As you can see, I have some super fantastic races coming up.
I am super stoked.
If you plan to run any of these races, PLEASE LET ME KNOW!
I would love to meet you!
It actually rates a five, but my eyes had wondered down the page an I clicked before I realized it. I’m looking forward to hearing about your races!
