I am currently in a bit of a running funk.
I have NOT felt like running.
Although I have had a few races after the OC,
I still haven’t gotten my MOJO back.
I am still running well, and feel good when I run…
I just don’t feel like doing it.
I actually emailed my coach a few weeks ago and admitted that I was in a funk.
She said that my feelings were totally normal.
Which I knew, but it was definitely nice to hear it from my coach.
And If I am being honest…
This isn’t the first time this has happened.
I actually fell into two or three funks last year.
But I made it through.
I have got about 35 miles to run this week and…
I am pledging to you, that I will do it.
I might not want to run, but I know I need to.
And let’s not forget that I have a HUGE race in 61 days.
Yeah… it’s time to get down to business.
Want some tips to get yourself out of a running funk?
Check out the blog post that I wrote on this very topic.
I just re-read it myself… and I am going to take my own advice.
